Magnetic Numbers for Solo Competitors
As solo competitors ourselves (Ed and Donna LaPlante, 1994 - 2005 Oregon Region,
F Stock), we make it easy for you to meet spec for vehicle numbers.
Digits are 10" high; class letters, if needed, are 4" high.
Height and stroke meet both SCCA and PCA requirements.
Number sets include enough digits/letters for both sides of the vehicle.
Base magnetic material is white. Cost: $85.00 per set.
We can deliver quickly, but would appreciate a few days notice before an event!
Once you know your club assigned number...
Step 1: Choose a letterstyle from our list of approved fonts...
Step 2: Select the color of your lettering from the following...
black, red, orange, yellow-gold, yellow-green, grass green, forest green,
medium blue, cobalt blue, purple, burgundy, grey, dark grey, dark brown
Step 3: E-mail us to submit order, and arrange delivery and payment.
Each number is applied individually to white magnetic material.
Our number sets include your pre-assigned two digit number PLUS the number 1 (one). For example, say your club assigned number is 67. Your number set would include the number 6, 7 and 1. If two drivers are running the same vehicle, one driver could be #67 and the co-driver could be #167. OR... you could create several number combinations for when you are running with another club and YOUR number is not available... #16, 17, 61, 71, 76, 167, 176, 671, 617, 761, 716, ...
Magnetic material will NOT stick to fiberglass or plastic, or if there is body filler from body damage repair. We run a 1995 camaro... the doors are plastic, but the rear quarter panels are steel, so that's where we run our numbers. Check your car with a magnet before ordering!
